Fruit - Vegetable salad

ORIGIN:

"Fruit vegetable salad" is ful of vegetables and fruits rich in vitamins,potassium and proteins.This is the healthiest and nutritious dish .This is a western dish popular in western countries .This is easy to prepare if all the necesary ingredients are available.

INGREDIENTS

Bananas - 2

Guava - 1

Apple - 1

Orange -1

Red Pomegranate- 1 cup

Green grapes - 1 cup.

Boiled and peeled potato - 1 cup.

Cucumber - 1

Tomato - 1

Green chilli - 4

Ginger - a small piece

Lemon juice - 3 tsps.

Chat masala powder - 2 tsps.

Black salt - 1 tsp.

Jeera powder - 1/2 tsp.

Salt and pepper - to taste.

Coriander leaves - 1 cup.

cherries - 1/4 cup.

PROCEDURE

Step 1:First of all wash all the fruits and vegetables with clean water.

Step 2:Then,peel the skin of all the fruits (except grapes)and vegetables.

Step 3:Then chop all the ingredients (fruits and vegetables) into small pieces.

Step 4:Mix the chopped vegetables and fruits well in a large glass bowl.

Step 5:Then ,add lemon juice to avoid discoloration.

Step 6:Then add salt,black salt,pepper,green chillis and chat masala powder to the above mixture and mix well.

Step 7:Refrigerate for atleast 1/2 an hour .

Step *:Serve chill.

NOTE:

*Take all the ingredients in the above mentioned quantity only.

*Use fresh vegetables and fruits only.

*Add lemon juice immediately after mixing the chopped vegetables with the fruits to prevent discoloration.
